Preserving the Moments That Make a Life

Every family has stories worth holding onto; the kind that surface around dinner tables, during long drives, or while flipping through old photo albums. My work is dedicated to capturing those stories before they fade, so they can be shared, remembered, and passed forward.

My Mission

My mission is simple: to help families preserve their memories with care, dignity, and artistry.

Whether Iโ€™m restoring a faded photograph, digitizing a fragile VHS tape, or recording a lifeโ€‘story interview, I approach every project with the same intention โ€” to honor the people and moments that matter most.

I believe storytelling is one of the most meaningful gifts we can give to future generations.

Why I Do This Work

I grew up in a big Central Texan family where summers, holidays, and road trips were spent surrounded by cousins, grandparents, and the joyful chaos of togetherness. As the years passed and our gatherings became less frequent, I realized how precious those shared moments truly were.

While digitizing my own familyโ€™s photos and home movies, I found myself captivated by the history tucked inside them โ€” the laughter, the places, the small details that make a life. That experience sparked something in me. I wanted to help other families preserve their stories too, so their memories could be held, shared, and cherished long after the moment has passed.

This work is personal to me. Itโ€™s a way of honoring where I come from and helping others do the same.

My Background in Storytelling & Archival Care

Before founding Texas Hill Country Tales, I spent years immersed in creative storytelling โ€” filming, editing, restoring, and organizing media for families, nonprofits, and community projects. Over time, I developed a deep love for archival work:

  • restoring old photos and film
  • digitizing fragile tapes
  • organizing decades of family history
  • shaping interviews into meaningful narratives

Iโ€™ve always been drawn to the intersection of memory and craft. Thereโ€™s something powerful about taking a box of scattered photos or a stack of aging tapes and transforming them into a story that feels whole, beautiful, and alive.

My work blends technical skill with emotional sensitivity โ€” a combination that allows families to feel supported, understood, and cared for throughout the process.

Serving the Texas Hill Country

Texas Hill Country Tales is rooted right here in the heart of Central Texas. Iโ€™m proud to serve families, funeral homes, and communities across the region โ€” from San Antonio to Austin, from small towns to ranches tucked between the hills.

This place is full of history, tradition, and stories worth preserving. Itโ€™s an honor to help families capture their memories in a way that reflects the warmth and spirit of the Hill Country.

A Note From Me

Every project I take on is personal. I treat your familyโ€™s memories with the same care I give my own โ€” because I know how much they mean. Whether youโ€™re honoring a loved one, celebrating a milestone, or preserving your familyโ€™s legacy, Iโ€™m here to help you create something meaningful, lasting, and full of heart.
